Our sacred mission

Preserving Our Sacred Heritage

Consecrated in January 2026, our church has become a home of prayer, communion, and spiritual growth. The next chapter is to clothe its walls in sacred images that teach the faith, gather the community, and turn every gaze toward Christ.

Each saint, feast, medallion, and sanctuary scene will be painted in the traditional Romanian Byzantine style by skilled iconographers. Together, these offerings will form one harmonious testimony of faith.

Faith Made Visible Through Sacrifice

An Appeal to Your Hearts

With the help of our Good God, in the month of January 2026 the Church of Saint Gregory the Theologian in Easley, South Carolina was consecrated, becoming for our community a place of prayer, of communion, of encounter with God, and of spiritual growth.

After this great blessing, we now desire to continue the beautification of the holy church through the painting of its interior in the traditional Romanian Byzantine style. Sacred iconography is not merely an adornment, but a confession of faith, a window toward heaven, and a living presence of the saints in the worship of the Church.

We therefore make an appeal to your hearts and invite you to take part in this holy work. Through the sacrifice of each person, according to their means, we can leave to our children and to generations yet to come a place filled with beauty, prayer, and Romanian Orthodox faith.

Anyone who wishes to donate may also do so in several installments over the course of two years. Likewise, several persons or families may join together to sponsor one saint or one scene. Every gift, whether large or small, becomes part of this shared offering to God.

May the Good God repay a hundredfold every sacrifice, bless every donor and their family, and receive this labor as a testimony of love for His holy house.
